Transition Omaha meets monthly, the third Sunday of the month, to engage the community and heighten awareness in moving from oil dependency to local resilience. Each month a related topic is presented followed by an opportunity to practice the open space concept.
Previous topics have included co-housing, GDP and gross national happiness, local community garden food networks, fiber arts of spinning and weaving and environmental art. This month's program features "What is Money?" from Chris Martenson's the Crash Course. The Crash course is a series of videos that clearly explains how our economy, energy systems and environment face increasing challenges, and explores likely implications for the future.
Join others who want to discuss money and it's creation, and learn the answer to how much is a trillion dollars.
